The epilogue is now up.
I’m posting the epilogue for my book down below. Take a read and let me know what you think. This was written a while ago, but the book still has some work to be done. The hardcore writing stage begins now.
Epilogue
THIS all encompassing trip was a lifetime of memories for me to experience in just over a year.
Here I am, four years older but forty years wiser, still on this high.
I don’t think I will be coming down from it anytime in the near future.
Sure, security and stability would be safe, but I will be just fine.
ALL my education and work experiences cannot match the life lessons that I am receiving.
Leaving at the prime of my prospective career was not a mistake, it was relieving.
Living without daily routines and letting go of material possessions was a much needed releasing.
ENCOMPASSING the world to visit friends and to explore new cultures is my passion now.
Now that I have lived and worked all over, I look back with appreciation of that first trip across Canada.
Canada is still my home but I have not limited myself to just one.
One of the most amazing things is how everything works out, with one particular coincidence that just blows my mind.
Mind you, I was not aware of it at the time, but I had met the girl of my dreams on the tour, and she is pretty.
Pretty much clueless, I talked to her as her friends climbed the van for a photo after the second St John’s show I was at.
At the Ottawa show, she was with her mom, unintentionally flaunting their newly purchased limited edition hoodies in front of me as I fled the scene.
Seen with her friend at the Portland show, she was introduced to me by Dana as Sophie.
Sophie was the familiar looking girl who I didn’t recognize after the Honolulu show even though she said hi, as did I.
I now live happily with Sophie and we are taking it as it comes, not planning what is next.
Next to enjoying life together, there is nothing that can be as good.
Good riddance normal life and welcome fulfilling life.
TRIP of a lifetime can continue, as I describe.
Ride whatever wave comes and wherever it takes me, that’s what I’m living by.
I am loving life and living it to the fullest with my girl,
Pearl Jam, thank you for being the catalyst to this all encompassing trip.
Now that you know how it all ends, go on and read the full story.
