CBC Article and Interview With Stephen Quinn
Pearl Jam is being inducted into Cleveland's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame April 7. Among the hundreds of fans who will be attending the induction ceremony is North Vancouver's Jason Leung. Leung says his passion for the band led him to ditch his career as a civil engineer and chase Pearl Jam all over the world. He chronicled his experience in his book This All Encompassing Trip.

Just prior to Pearl Jam’s Rock N Roll induction in New York City, the CBC contacted Jason to conducted an interview with him about the momentous occasion and what it’s like to be a Pearl Jam fan.
He was interviewed by long time radio host Stephen Quinn for his On The Coast show in the afternoon.
“The relationship between Pearl Jam and their fans are so interconnected that it almost feels like we, as fans, are also being inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame tonight.”

Jason recounts that he first became aware of the band from just down the road in Seattle, WA through MTV and Muchmusic along with trading tapes with friends who would record songs from radio back in the early 90s.
And now, all these years later, he has a wealth of friends from all parts of the world, who he sees regularly.
From the interview, the cbc.ca website also wrote about his story in an article entitled “North Vancouver Pearl Jam mega fan goes to New York for their induction into Hall of Fame” and blasted it through their social media outlets.
